So you finally decided to join Twitch because it is now so easy to use with the BeLive platform. Well, congratulations! We’re sure you’re stoked but before you go ahead and start live streaming, here are a couple of things you need to know before launching your first Twitch show.
One of the things that a lot of people forget to do is turning on save videos after broadcast when they go on twitch. You can avoid having your live video disappear or die by following these simple steps.
Before you even click on START BROADCAST, go to your Twitch account and click on the upper right of your profile. You should see a drop down. Select DASHBOARD.
You will then be redirected to another page where you need to click on CHANNEL.
Last step is for you to make sure that the green tick mark is seen which ensures that you have activated the store past broadcasts options. This guarantees that your broadcast is now saved for at least 14 days. If you are a Twitch partner, it will be saved for 60 days.
Your broadcast will be gone forever after 14 days so to make sure that won’t happen, you can also download your broadcast to your computer, then upload it again or cut it into clips. Clips do not get deleted and is also the best way to repurpose your Twitch broadcast.
Before you go live, make sure that you’ve updated the parts in the red box so that all pertinent information will be loaded with your live video. This also helps Twitch ensure that your live video will be placed in the right category so you can reach the right audience.
Now that you know these three things, you can go ahead and show the Twitch community how awesome your show is. Keep visiting our blog for more tips and tricks that we will be sharing in the days to come. Try out BeLive.tv
