Everyone wants to be seen. Everyone wants to be heard. Everyone wants to be liked. If you have a business, these things probably speak more to your business than anyone else because businesses rely on being seen, heard, and of course, liked. In this day and age of digital marketing, likes are the gateway that allows businesses to close more sales.
So, how can you stay on top of the game? Our resident host of Monetize your Live Molly Mahoney is here to teach us on how we can stay on top of social media trends to ensure that our live shows are always seen, heard, and liked.

Focus on a Platform
Since there are so many social media platforms out there, you need to be able to choose 1 or 2 that you can focus on. This way, people know what is your main channel and they know where to find you. Some people can be on Instagram Live, some are on YouTube, while others are on Facebook Live. If you can focus on just 1 or 2, then you can maximize your usage and master that platform.
Follow a Blog
There are so many blogs out there but if you choose to follow between 5–10 blog that are really good in sharing and providing the latest trends on social media, you can stay on top of your game. It can be an actual blogger, news site, companies, or tech sites.

When you follow them, you need to check in on these sites daily because it is your job to check on what’s new and what are the possible changes that could affect your live show and business. After all, if you are one of the first to talk about the changes, it automatically elevates you on that platform.
You don’t need to have any insider information or give anything majorly brilliant. You just need to be able to share your opinion or start a discussion on the change to become an authority in your field.
Be consistent
The more that you use a platform, the easier it will be for you to notice small changes on the platform. Since social media platforms are always being updated, there are a lot of changes being done and if you are one of the first to spot it in your circle, that can be a huge boost to your authority.

You can take a screen cap and share the information to your circle and when you are consistent about these things, other influencers in your space can take your information and share it to their space while giving you a shout out and highlighting you. This allows you to get reach on other people’s social media space without too much effort.
There’s still a few more tips from Molly so make sure you watch her video below.
