Tell us something about you and your show that you’d like people to know about.
My name is Esther and I work in Marketing for MyHeritage. We’ve been providing online sessions/Q and As for our Facebook followers so that they can take advantage of their time at home to advance their family history research.
Why did you go into video marketing or live streaming?
With the outbreak of the global pandemic and millions across the world staying at home, we thought it would be a good opportunity to jump on something that we’ve wanted to start for a long time – live streaming on our Facebook page. Its been a great learning experience for us and has been very successful.
What has been the biggest impact of live streaming in your life?
It’s been a great way to connect to our social media followers and those who are not necessarily MyHeritage users yet but are interested in our useful content.
How has BeLive as a platform helped you?
We’ve been using BeLive since we started live-streaming a couple of months ago. We’ve found it easy to use and makes our live streams look professional, and perfectly geared towards our users.
How are you promoting your product or service on your BeLive shows?
Every session that we do promotes MyHeritage services, features, and products. Many of the sessions are live demos or slideshow presentations about MyHeritage.
How many times do you use BeLive to promote your organization?
We are currently using BeLive around 6 times a week to create live streams on our various Facebook pages in different languages.
Which BeLive feature do you think has helped you achieved the results for your business?
The ability to invite guests easily and share the screen, as well as brand our live streaming with our colors and images has made the difference to us.
Anything else you’d like to share about how BeLive has helped your business?
We really like working with a platform that is evolving and constantly looking to improve. Even in the short time that we’ve been using it, we’ve seen improvements and new features.
Thanks to live streaming, learning more about genealogy research has become more exciting and intriguing for people who would like to understand their family tree. MyHeritage also makes sure to give their viewers value with every episode of their Facebook live series.
