My name is Yva Yorston and I run a small marketing agency called Content Boost from my home in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Why did you go into video marketing or live streaming?
I started live streaming as a means to promote our services. Our specialist area is blogging for small businesses, but with the growing popularity of video I knew it was important to start doing that too, and lead the way for our customers. Live streaming is great for busy business owners like me, because there’s no editing involved — you just hit the button and go!
What has been the biggest impact of live streaming in your life?
Live streaming has allowed me to develop a personal relationship with our followers and create a sense of community and camaraderie around our business.
How has BeLive as a platform helped you?
BeLive made it super easy to produce a professional Facebook Live show. I love the fact you can add your own branding, and the ability to display banners and comments on the screen makes it a slick experience for viewers.
How are you promoting your product or service on your BeLive shows?
During the show, I talk about the different questions that people have about content marketing, and common concerns they have about working with marketing consultants. I do my best to give transparent and unbiased answers, so that they can make an informed buying decision and get the best solution for their circumstances (even if that means they don’t work with us!).
How many times do you use BeLive to promote your business/organization?
My show, Launchpad Live, is weekly, but I do it in seasons. The next one will be coming soon! I also use it with my Facebook Group.
